    "Marantha" Museum of Crèches in Luttach

    Visitors can go on an impressive walk through the mystic world of cribs including traditional Tyrolean cribs, antique oriental birthing groups, modern cribs and human wooden figures.

    "Ötzi – the iceman" Archeology Museum of Bolzano

    The 5,000 year old mummy known as Ötzi is exhibited in the Tyrolean Archaeology Museum in Bolzano along with his tools and clothes. Opening times: open all season, Tuesday - Saturday, 10 am - 6 pm (last admission at 5 pm), Thursday 10 am – 8 pm (last admission 7 pm). Guides only by reservation from groups with 15 people or more.

    Brunico/Bruneck City Museum

    The municipal Museum of Bruneck opened its gates in 1912. It was liquidated in the fascist era when the pieces were brought to Bolzano. The newly restored museum of Brunico contains parts of the art history collection from the former Bruneck city museum, while the focus is on modern and contemporary pieces from local and international contemporary artists.

    Chiusa/Klausen City Museum

    Former Kapuziner monastery
    The city museum in the medieval town of Chiusa/Klausen displays sacral objects, such as the treasure of Loreto as well as supplementary exhibitions by different artists.
    Opening times: end of March – end of August: 10 am – 12 pm and 4 pm – 7 pm; beginning of September – mid November: 9.30 am – 12 pm and 3.30 pm – 6 pm. Closed on Mondays, Sundays and public holidays.

    The Diocese Museum shows medieval masterpieces and paintings up to the Modern era, as well as cribs and other relics. The Hofburg Brixen Palace was built in the 13th century as a solid castle. It was rebuilt in the 16th century and finished 1719 showcasing Renaissance court architecture.
