The Rodeneck Alm natural paradise is a favourite among cross-country skiers. However, also the trails in Meransen, Vals and Pfunders are very popular.
This Alpine region is also interesting during the winter season. Numerous trails are cleared and inviting for a winter walk. You can visit one of the mountain huts if you feel you need to defrost …or want something to eat, as many of them are open during the winter. A day ticket, 5 day ticket and 10 day ticket for the lift facilities will make your ascent very easy!!
SKI TOURS & SNOW-SHOW HIKING
Apart from your equipment, there is not much else you’ll need! Put on your tour skis or snow-shoes and enjoy the great outdoors. If you want it more comfortable, confine your tours to the valley. However, if you are up to a challenge and if your physical conditions allows, then the summit it your limit!
Very popular with all ages. Use the lift facilities to bring you to one of the Alpine huts and then …go! Try out the ice channel !!

The Pfunder Valley
is one of the best reservoirs to learn water fall climbing
. How to climb the vertical ice pillars will be demonstrated by a qualified mountain guide. All you need to bring is a little bit of courage ...and then follow the instructions given by the guide. This will get your adrenalin going.
For equipment, all you need is warm winter clothing, as well as a ruck-sack, cap, 2 pairs of gloves, 1 litre of hot tea per person and good hiking shoes. The rest is there ...waiting for you!
