Active Park in Terenten

The Active Park in Terenten is located in the village centre and will keep your children entertained with a climbing tower, a giant slide, a rope course and more, while you put your feet up in the hammocks.

Alpinpool

Alpinpool in Meransen is a family-friendly indoor pool with one main pool, two children’s pools with slides and bubbles, three saunas, a bistro and free parking.

Capriz

The Capriz cheese dairy in Vintl offers you the chance to learn all about Alpine cheese production and to take part in cheese tastings.

Eisbruggsee lake

Set at an altitude of 2,351 metres in the Pfunderertal valley, this lake makes an enchanting photo with its deep blue waters and surrounding mountains.

Jochtal Adventure Park

The Jochtal Adventure Park is an adventure trail featuring a petting zoo, a deer-shaped climbing feature, a balance course and more. It leads from the mountain terminal of the Jochtal lift to the Steinermandl panoramic platform.

Open from mid-June to early September, the minigolf course in Meransen is a good place to train your precision skills and have a good time.

The minigolf course is the centrepiece at the Active Park Terenten. It lies between the football pitch and the volleyball court, and it’s perfect for a day out with your family or friends.

Mühlbacher Klause fortress

Previously a toll station, this fortress at the entrance to the Pustertal valley also marked the border between the counties of Gorizia and Tyrol. It is open for visits in the summer months.

Bunker Spinges recreation area

The Bunker Spinges recreation area is the perfect place for playing and relaxing, with several features for young and old.

Pianer Kreuz chapel

The Pianer Kreuz chapel sits prettily on the Rodenecker-Lüsner Alp. It is a place of quietness and contemplation, and was consecrated by Pope Benedict XVI in 2008.

Pustertal cycle path

The Pustertal cycle path leads from Franzensfeste via Bruneck to Innichen. It is just under 70 kilometres long and mostly asphalted, although some sections lead along field paths and gravel roads.

Castle Rodenegg

Castle Rodenegg is an imposing castle steeped in legend. Situated between Schabs and Mühlbach, it is owned by the descendants of minnesinger Oswald von Wolkenstein.

Seefeldsee lake

The bright blue Seefeldsee lake is located at 2,276 metres, just below the Seefeldspitze peak, in the Altfasstal Valley (near Meransen).

The Gitschberg Sun Park

The Gitschberg Sun Park is located by the mountain terminal of the Nesselbahn cable car, above Meransen. It offers children plenty of entertainment with sun-themed attractions such as the Sun bridge, a giant slide, the Sun telephone and much more.

Earth Pyramids in Terenten

Formed in 1837 after a huge storm, the earth pyramids are a natural spectacle you don’t want to miss.

Tiefrastensee lake

The Tiefrastensee lake is next to the Tiefrastensee hut, at 2,312 metres, near Terenten. Its idyllic waters have sparked a number of legends!

Wildersee lake

The Wildersee lake is located at the foot of the Wild Kreuzspitze peak, at 2,532 metres. With a depth of 46 metres, it is the deepest Alpine lake in South Tyrol and it makes a charming photo subject.

Vintler waterfall

The Vintler waterfall plunges 43 metres into the depths – an impressive sight to behold! You can get there with an easy walk on the Elves’ trail. Above the waterfall there is a rock balcony that commands a spectacular view.
