Did you know that you can go paragliding in Rodeneck and on Mt. Gitschberg? You can either fly on your own or take advantage of the tandem flights offered by the local paragliding school, where professional instructors will help you choose the take-off point (based on wind direction), tell you everything you need to know about paragliding and bring you safely back to the ground.
Paragliding flights in detail
For tandem flights launching from Mt. Gitschberg, you can choose between paragliding and thermal flights. A paragliding flight lasts 20 to 25 minutes, while a thermal flight takes about 45 minutes. Flights for couples and groups are also an option.
In the Gitschberg Jochtal holiday area, paragliding is a rewarding activity offering beautiful views all year round. Enjoy the feeling of soaring over seas of bright green in the summer or mounds of whipped cream in winter!

The Gitschberg paragliding school has branches in Mühlbach and in Terenten.
You can book your flight online or by phone. The take-off site of the Rodeneck paragliding school is in Fröllerberg, while the landing site is in Gifen.
