What can I look forward to?

The Robber Hunt on Mt. Gitschberg is an exciting outdoor adventure for families with children aged around 8 to 14. Equipped with a treasure map and an app, you will embark on an interactive audio tour that sprinkles a nature experience with an extra dose of excitement. Solve the tricky puzzles along the way with the help of your parents, and enjoy the trip from the Nesselbahn mountain station up to the Gitschhütte hut – you’re in for a real experience.

What will it be like?

In this adventure, you will be accompanying shepherd boy Lukas from Meransen and his clever marmot friend Gimmy as they follow the trail left by two robbers who heisted the Brixen cathedral treasury, and are now on the run across Mt. Gitschberg with their loot.

Start off at the Gitschberg valley station, where you can pick up your free treasure map and download the Locandy app. From there, take the cable car up to the Nesselbahn mountain station, where the robber hunt will lead you all the way to the Gitschhütte hut.
